Located on Central Avenue in Glendale, California, the Melody International Music School offers students a variety of classes and private lessons that are designed to teach children as well as adults of all skill levels the fundamentals of music, how to play an instrument, or how to hone their vocals and singing abilities.
Some of what prospective students can expect to learn by attending the school include being first instructed on the basics of music theory in order to establish a firm foundation before delving into the more advanced aspects of learning to play a specific instrument.
Students may choose from learning the piano or the keyboard, covering styles such as the traditional and classical, as well as the modern and contemporary. Budding drummers are taught the basic techniques, beginning with the drum pad and working their way up to learning a variety of rhythms and beats. Children, teenagers, and adults alike can also learn how to play the guitar, the bass, or even the violin, starting with introductory lessons and advancing to being able to perform in recitals.
Students as young as four years of age are also taught effective theories such as music dictation, sight reading, and mastering the scales as they become growing musicians and vocalists under the guidance of trained instructors with more than 25 years of music experience.
